My partner and I are on our last day (Day 13 of 14) of Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) here at the Aloft Bangkok. Having stayed here many times previously, and because we are Marriott Bonvoy members, we chose the Aloft Bangkok due to excellent past experiences. Whilst ASQ is an entirely different experience from an ordinary hotel stay, it has been faultless from the moment we arrived two weeks ago. The level of professionalism from all of the Aloft staff, and the hospital staff they have partnered with at the Bangpakok 9 Hospital, particularly the nurses has been first class. Being confined to a hotel room for a lengthy period of time may be stressful to some, but the professionalism of the hotel and hospital staff has made our experience very much stress free and enjoyable. Excellent communication with the staff through LINE 24/7, on-call nurse 24/7, being able to choose your breakfast, lunch and dinner meals times, and multiple choices for each meal (Thai, Asian or Western), plus a very affordable room service menu for snacks. Food has been excellent. After the first negative Covid test we were able to use the outdoor relaxation area by the pool which was great. Absolutely no hesitation recommending the Aloft Bangkok as an excellent choice for ASQ accomodation in Bangkok.
