If you are looking to get back to Thailand then 15 days quarantine is mandatory. I have just completed mine at the Park Plaza soi 18 Bangkok.Part of the Raddison group. I highly recommend this hotel here is why ... In quarantine you have only 5 things to look forward to, you then return to the normal world of being in a country with little or no Covid. 1. Food ... The food here is excellent with a tasty and varied menu. 2. Exercise ... roof top pool with gym very relaxing 60 minutes after passing first Covid test 3. Super fast WiFi. 4. Covid tests ... up to my stay no one had tested positive. 5. Manager and staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble. Hope this helps anyone looking for a mid price range quarantine stay and to anyone thinking of doing this to get back to Thailand I would say do your research. Don’t think that the price you pay is definitely going to reflect the experience you are going to get. Go with a brand you trust and know. Regards Mark

Day 7 of our stay at Park Plaza, Soi 18 We elected to stay in the Park Suite due to its size . Hotel is flexible in changing dates in case of flight cancellation or positive covid results . Deposit is only 5,000 baht per person with balance required 7 days before reservation date. No access to a balcony ,however lots of natural light from many windows . Staff have been quite helpful and accommodating to our requests and needs , responding quickly to communication through the line account. Selection of meals for the following day is done each morning . You select the times you wish the meals delivered . Good selection of meals, albeit primarily Thai, there is always a Western meal option. Meals are plentiful and warm , there is a microwave in the suite in case of need . Record and provide temperature twice a day. First covid test on day 5 with results provided the following day. If result is negative , you can go out to area by the pool for 45 minutes each day. Second test is on day 12 , afterwards ,if negative , can start to use exercise equipment. Wifi is okay , the download speed in our room is running around 7.5 mpbs with upload speed just shy of 12 mpbs .. Adequate selection of channels both western and Thai. I would suggest bringing a device such as an Apple TV or Roku to provide you with other options, as I like to watch news and programs from my home country. I would recommend bringing extra snacks to carry you through the quarantine period . You can also arrange for in room service ,if you so wish. You can though ask to order from 7-11 This hotel deserves your consideration for staying during your quarantine period.
